Hi all, I have been trying to access the eu#3 teamspeak channel, and I am being prompted for a password, Piranha was telling me this is a TFAR configuration issue. Does anyone know how to configure TFAR for me to be able to access the TS channel for eu#3 please? Thanks, Jamie.

Thank you Mark - FRAG OUT!!! I do have a question around EU#3 actually. I tried to connect earlier, and my Teamspeak was asking for a password to enter the channel. I was told by Piranha that I may have an issue with my TFAR settings as there shouldn't be a password and to speak to Josh about it. Is there a guide on the forums here around resolving this do you know? Also, I was getting a weird thing earlier where my antivirus started quarantining dll files from Arma 3 randomly. I can't seem to stop it doing it, and it is really getting on my nerves. For some reason it only seems to affect the eu#3 server, which is odd. Any help you could give yo shed some light on this would be appreciated. Jamie. EDIT: Sorted both issues out now.

Thank you both for your replies. I am using Bullguard A/V. I did download the files from yourselves directly, so I know they are safe. I shall download them again, that would probably be easiest as I do not know how to un-quarantine them (now they are quarantined). EDIT: Don't worry, I have located the quarantine area and un-quarantined them, I have also added the 2 1 params thing as I forgot about that during install of Arma3Sync. Thanks both!

Hi all, I had an issue this morning where my antivirus has quarantined a number of Ace_dll's thinking they are malware. I assume this is an issue with the files looking like virus' but not being so, and thought I should check with the community to see if anyone has come across a similar issue before I un-quarantine them. The files are: - ace_medical.dll ace_fcs.dll ace_break_line.dll ace_advanced_ballistics.dll Thanks, Jamie.

Hi all, I have a question around loadouts for different classes. Is there a post on here which talks about what kit to take with a certain class, and the pro's and cons of each piece of equipment? There seems to be sooooooo much choice when picking equipment at base, and I don't know where to start. Is it just a case of trial and error? I realise some equipment will only work with certain classes, but if I am, for instance, a medic, how do I know which rifles I can pick out of the 150-odd on offer? It won't let me equip a certain rifle when I come to pick it, but if I can't equip it, shouldn't it be greyed out? Thanks, Jamie.

I am Jamie, and I am new to Arma 3, just bought a very nice new gaming laptop from PC Specialist mainly coz I realised at the age of 38 that the only games which have ever held my attention for more than 5 minutes are PC games (America's Army, WoW for about 3 years and others). I had seen Arma videos through Luetin, and a few other broadcasters and thought I had to try it out. I have been playing a few nights and I am enjoying it, but already I can see the learning curve is going to be great (which probably mean more time on various wiki's and on here learning the game when I should be working!!) Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and please be patient with my questions as I already feel totally out of my depth and I have many! Cheers, Jamie.
