How rude Josh, you should be ashamed
  2. Facist Ireland anyone? No? Just me...
  3. There was a vote in the forums about having a server swapped over to iron front for a couple of months, but either it didn't get enough interested votes or it was forgotten about when exile became popular
  4. May have to back out of this one, PC needs total reset
  5. Probably having to back out of this one, finally got my PC to recognise it was a legitimate version of Windows, and it instantly started to upgrade to Windows 10. It saved all my files, which is about all it saved. All the games, Steam, TS and Arma3Sync have been removed. It even got rid of WinRar and has set the keyboard configuration to American... It'll take me the majority of Tomorrow and probably a large chunk of Saturday to get things up and running properly
  6. Would be there, but can't make it due to college
  7. If I can help with this I will. Name the when and where and I'll do my best to get there
  8. Should be there, signed up for it. If I can't make it I'll either post here or message one of the admins
  9. So in stupid people terms: MAKE YOUR LOADOUT IN THE VIRTUAL ARSENAL. DONT SIT IN EU3 TAKING UP EVERYONES TIME. IF THERE'S SOMETHING IMPORTANT YOU FORGOT JUST BEFORE THE MISSION GET IT FROM THE EU3 ARSENAL IF IT'S NOT IMPORTANT THEN DON'T BOTHER WITH IT I've seen a guy spend the entire 4 missions working on his load out, and was still working on it when the maps changed and he couldn't save. Needless to say he was pissed and rage-quit, only to come back after a few hours and nearly do the same thing
  10. He has a point here, while I don't use it myself it is still listed as an allowed weapon on the 'play your role' page, and it's listed under the majority of roles... Is there a way that we could see a list of the removed/barred items, in case we want to add them to our load out in the virtual arsenal in our own time as opposed to the arsenal before a mission?
  11. Storm hit the nail on the head, it's primarily to stop people from playing dress up at the start of a mission, but if you so desperately want the stuff then you can add it to a load out save in the Virtual Arsenal. I believe (but correct me if I'm wrong) it's also there to help enforce rule 10: "If you select a role, please play that role. *Please check the useful links section at the bottom for a list of what each role should be using.* By this we mean: We do not want to see a medic with a DMR and/or AT Launcher. We also expect you to play as the faction you are. BLUFOR faction gear with BLUFOR and OPFOR with OPFOR. OPFOR does not use AR type weaponry (m4 based weapons) and they do not use MTP/Multicam, DPM or any other NATO used camouflaged clothing. This rule also covers the amount of gear you carry. Anymore than 20 mags is NOT acceptable as you will run out of stamina fairly quickly and endanger the team when you are stationary in a open field."
  12. Depending on times I'll be hopping in and out
  13. A good deal of my last course revolved around the editing of footage and I managed to walk away from the course with a DMM and a £200 piece of editing software for my Mac, so if anyone wants help editing footage, or just wants someone to edit the footage for them, let me know Beyond that I'm willing to help anyway I can
  14. It has nothing to do with how long you've been playing, but depends on what slot you've picked in the squad/fireteam.
  15. Yeah, but when you try to use them, do you tick both modded and official? or just one of the two?
  16. Are you trying to open arms through arma3sync with the official and the modded files? Because I'm not sure if that works
  17. Signed up for assorted rifleman positions and gunner
  18. I'm in the exact same situation, finished my course, now I'm waiting to see if I've got an offer for next year In the mean time, I get to learn to drive and get turned down for countless jobs
  19. They're actually quite good, giving me a nice fix of EU3 when I'm not at the PC. I think you should have a set time for when you stream, and a rough guess of how long you'll be on for, that way you can start to get a regular view base In terms of presentation you're good there, etiquette is good, can't do anything about the quality
