I agree that Vortex should be at least kept an eye upon in some way. I'd definitely appreciate a pilot's test of some type if for no other reason than to be able to 'prove my worth' as such. it would also encourage people to get themselves up to a certain standard of flying before even attempting a flight on EU#3, I know I felt fairly pressurised after seeing the general good standard, I'd like to think I performed however. thermal scopes remove one of the deepest parts of immersion in ARMA the 'where the f*** is the enemy shooting from?' syndrome, please remove. Finally, yes yes and YES to better support control, there is nothing quite like an armoured column, not even a flight of Helos. Maybe make certain missions incredibly hard for Helicopters but facilitated by at least a mechanised convoy? Something along the lines of spawn AA nests (Marked) ALL OVER the AO. "The enemy's got wise to standard insertion techniques, send in the cavalry!" So to summarise my thoughts; Implement Pilot's 'licence' (maybe a priority system override, applicable to all servers?) ✓ Remove Thermal scopes ✓ General better control over support./More demanding missions (in terms of methodology) ✓

Hey everyone, I've realised that I never really introduced myself onto this forum, I've used it and tracked it a lot but not actually posted nor introduced myself on it so here I am. My name is Leo Banks, I go by the moniker CSgtL.Banks when i'm on Arma. Why CSgt? It stands for Colour Sergeant a term used by certain regiments in the British Army, such as "The Rifles". Back in the day my cadet contingent was sponsored by said regiment and as such we adopted their standards, thus once I was promoted beyond sergeant, I became the 'Colour Sergeant' of the Company, and if we had had a flag regularly flying during our weekly form-up I would have been the once bearing it, bearing the colours. Hence 'Colour Sergeant.' You'll normally find me on Teamspeak performing one of the following roles when on EU#1 or EU#2; Pilot - Mohawk for low level evasion. Engineer/repair specialist - Tanks and Repairs AT - Gotta love them Missiles. I'm normally recognisable in any role, using a Black Beret, and CTRG uniform with an RPG tube on my back. (unless I have a more sophisticated launcher available) I'd be very interested in becoming an admin on EU1,2 and 4 since I have long term experience in that regard and an ability to get the balance of things right. Zeus is a good tool if used RIGHT. Otherwise it becomes an overbearing god-complex tool. Peace out guys and see you at Evac.

I found this in the .pbo I think this may have something to do with the CAS spamming. class AirPatrol { title = "Air Vehicles Patrolling AO"; values[] = {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10}; texts[] = {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10}; default = 10; }; why is the default 10? Does this explain why there are so many enemy CAS? This also explains why the CAS spam doesn't happen ALL the time but instead happens most of the time.
