  1. Awsome job on the fps again, think I had a minimum of 45 last night. 2 things I have noticed atm 1. Ammo Truck cant be lifted , not sure if this is intended but would be nice to have the ammo truck liftable so troops dont have to rtb every new ao or side mission. 2. The location of the Laptops which do Base defence and clean up might need to be changed, as this morning when I logged on someone had destroyed the tower they were in which made them inaccessable, maybe they can be moved into the empty room top right of the terminal building? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=267802631 Keep up the good work.
  2. Insted of bugging an admin I thought I would post a thread about somethings I have found on this version easier for you to reference. Some things may be bugs some maybe intended and you may be aware of some of the things I will mention but just incase you are not aware of them I will list them below. 1. Mortars are back in the ammobox 2. Not sure if there are base defences ( didnt see them when I first logged in today ) 3. No option to turn grass off 4. After a while there are alot of friendly empty avatars standing around the spawn area. 5. A pilot asked about the lifting height display and passenger list not showing up 6. Is an object clean up script running, as there was alot of stuff lying about base last time I was there along with the blank people? 7. Unsure what you have planned for the revive and side missions will have to wait and see about that one Apart from that I have noticed a great improvement to fps so thankyou all who have been trying to sort everything out.   3. Great vid nice leading. Just wondering if you knew the laser des you were using at the beginning had compass bearings top left corner, would save you switching to the compass?

I have noticed a problem with the halo drop on EU1 that if the old ao is very nearly complete and you click halo jump and leave it on the map part until the ao is complete you can still jump to new ao. Yes you can only do it once but I wanted to see if I could take tower down and enemy hele while evac was still on going at old ao and I did before they even managed to RTB. This could be abused and would kind of suck if 1 or many cottened on to this as it would change the tactics of the game completly.
  5. Seems like everytime I log in its a different version recently which I dont mind that much but you play one version for 1 or 2 AO's someone moans gets an admin and it is restarted and changed. Is there a stable version which should be on EU1 mainly or is it just swap and change? I am not sure all the differences between the different versions as there are alot now and somethings I like and dislike on most of the ones I have played on, I have come up with a List of some things I would love to see on a version someday. My Wishlist. 1. Squad Management this is a must on any version as some versions you have dont seem to have it. 2. Lifting script would be nice. 3. I like the version with the 2 hellcats 1 mohawk and no pawnee 4. Explosions kept to a minimum, on some versions the exploding tanks and fire seem to go on for ages and you get zero fps for about 5 mins if too close, some of the newer versions the explosions and fire seem to go out in a minute or so and less laggy. 5. Ammo crates at aircraft are handy. 6. Radio tower and side missions plant C4 option is good, stops UAV and CAS and Tanks blowing them up. 7. Tele at a flag pole at base to hele spawn is good. 8. Not sure if its possible to have a Tele at a flag pole at hele spawn to the base, would be nice if you could. 9. Not bothered about revive system if you have boosted armour to make up for it, you or teammate can heal you , only a medic can heal you to 100%? 10. Halo drop when Radio tower is down is good, maybe if it could be limited to once every 10-15 mins. 11. UAV rearming, maybe if it was limited to 10-15 mins would cut down on UAV dropping bombs manually and raping ao and side before ground troops even get there. Not that they should be going to side without being called in but doesnt stop someof them.Maybe they can wait till someone Laser des a target insted of manually dropping. Four options maybe make things more interesting but im not too sure about are as follows:- 1. 2 enemy heles at new AO maybe a Kajman and an Orca will make it Harder to insert ground troops and AT guys more important and maybe they will bring AA missiles now and again:) 2. Tanks like the Kuma and Cheetah are side mission rewards only, Kuma esp as it seems alittle OP, usually a repair spec jumps in it and then racks up a huge kill count,wont go and repair other vehicles as he just want to stay and snipe at a safe distance for a good part ( not that scores matter ) any vehicle that can almost solo an AO souldnt be a spawn vehicle IMO. 3. Not sure if side mission rewards can be limited to 1 per kind if another of its kind is still active, other day we had 2 kumas 2 buzzards 1 pawnee and some people in mortars, Wasnt mush fun for ground troops as they seemed to kill pretty much everything. 4. Mortars, I could rant about mortars for a bit. would like it if either mortar backpacks not allowed to be loaded into a vehicle, or arty computer taken out or something else. Dislike it when you get 1 or 2 guys loading a vehicle and setting up 2 mortars with almost inf ammo as they filled vehicle with backpacks and randomly firing into ao. They dont mark the map with M1 M2 M3 etc... letting ground troops aware of where they have fired, you can travel along way in 30 seconds that the mortars take to splash, even worse with halo as you can just appear anywhere. Should have forward spotters marking map IMO and then mortar person deleting map marker when they splash. I dont mind mortars and CAS at all , just a few people seem to abuse them or over use them in a manner that spoils the gameplay for other people. Anyway im going to try to keep notes from now on on things people mention whilst I am on, the likes and dislikes etc.. and maybe make another post in the future. Its impossible to please everyone no matter what changes are made not everyone will agree or like them.   6. 1 My main concerns or problems with the game are CAS support that goto ao or side before a player has even got there and takes out most or all of the tanks and a lot of inf before a single friendly troop hits the floor. 2 Mortar teams, sometimes when i log on there are 2 buddies that fill a vehicle with many mortar backpacks and head near ao and constantly fire at ao randomly even when friendlys are near, not marking the areas on map they are firing on or telling people or having forward spotters marking targets for them., I have nothing against mortars, but its annoying esp with halo drop they fire dont mark map you halo drop right where they fired etc.. and you die. they dont care , and have basically unlimited ammo.

  8. Not sure what happened maybe server got hacked? Was a bright light which changed colour a few times then all the vehicles exploded at base, then went black and white and ended up free falling for ages, happened a few times, like a nuke going off.   10. Hi I have not been flying long so still getting used to it and only done a handfull of lifts but have noticed something that bugs me. When you release the vehicle it seems to defy Newtons first law " First law: When viewed in an inertial reference frame, an object either is at rest or moves at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force " I mean you release the vehicle and it suddenly stops to zero forward motion and zero downward speed so if you are going the slightest bit too fast forward or descending slightest bit too fast the vehicle ends up in the helecopter causing you the hele and all who are with you to die in a ball of flames ( sometimes amusing if you have annoying passengers ). All is fine if you have plenty of time to safely stop and drop but sometimes inserting troops you need to be fast as you may have an enemy helecopter coming at you. Im sure they wont change this but it does make things hard. Rant over. Laters.
  11. Hello everyone, I have been playing alot on your servers so thought I might as well regester and say hi, my names Lee Im 36 and live in sunny Scotland although born in England. Never played any of the previous arma games but had to try arma 3 as it looked great and although has alot of bugs atm is very good. I have been trying out alot of different roles as I like to chop and change even bought a Joystick and throttle to fly the helecopters, so be warned all who fly with me as still a novice, but spend an hour or so daily on editor mode practicing various landing and maneuvers of varying difficulty. I like the teamwork and tactics part of the game although sometimes the game play on public servers can only be described as semi organised chaos. Hope I don't annoy anyone too much whilst playing as I can get abit frustrated at times and might have a little rant from time to time but mostly I am pretty chilled. Until we meet on the battlefield or you post a message have fun. Laters.
