    IEDs

This mod (or functionality like it built into I&A), would certainly add some chaos and uncertainty into I&A missions, and make them a bit harder, and/or less predictable. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170703-Randomly-generated-roadside-IEDs
  2. Unless I'm being dense (entirely possible), the game difficulty settings only appear to work offline, not in multiplayer. I've made the above changes, it still spams the multiplayer channels. I'm not talking about solo gameplay, I'm talking about in I&A
  3. Hi guys is there any opinions around or plans to add modern era weapons, attachments, possibly equipment and/or uniforms to either the I&A game, or just our AW servers? Just asking...
  4. Agree BTW, hence my first sentence. Adding this shouldn't be at the expense of acceptable framerate loss, otherwise just bin it off.
  5. Everything depends on how and if something can be implemented or not, however... I will agree, it would be nice to see this kind of functionality. As I&A players, I think we are conditioned to not worry about the enemy until we get near the edge of the AO circle. That's actually not realistic, and we should be (forced) to be on our toes a little more on our way to the AO, and certainly around the outside of the AO. Landing just outside the actual AO, is usually quite safe, and again... it shouldn't be so. Also, and I don't know how this would link in, we could do with some random AI spawning inside the AO during the mission, or patrolling into the AO, or at least patrolling around 'significantly' within the AO. The AI is just a bit too static and predictable, at times. Whilst on that subject, and I appreciate server load and hence lag might be an issue here, how about spawning non-combatants, or neutrals, or even non-participating friendlies within the AO. Add a required element of SA to charging into an AO and just shooting at anything without a green tag on it. You could add a friendly fire, or non-combatant kill tally to the score board, or strike off enemy kills for each friendly or non-combatant killed. Sorry if I've taken this off thread.
  6. Good idea, all of them really. I think this kind of thing will always bring up the playability vs realism debate, which is justified too. Here's another idea for the pot: allowing any player with FAK (or with a FAK on the victim's body) to either halt the bleed-to-death, or double/triple/quadruple the bleed period, but not actually do a revive, leaving the fallen player not dying (as fast), but not back in the game. That would require a combat life saver with a medic kit.
  7. I'm interested in joining in on this.
  8. Is there any way to halt the automatic command spam that squad leader's continually issue. I'm speaking from the perspective of being the squad leader, as opposed to squelching it. It's frustrating seeing oneself continually issuing orders or requests, that I'm not actually issuing!
  9. You've killed me a few times now...
  10. Recognise a lot of the names on the forums here. Given I spend pretty much all my A3 time on these servers - thought I'd throw a hello out there. Hello!
