  1. I love the thought of this idea. If implemented correctly this feature would not only add a higher level of 'randomness' and difficulty to the missions, but also make the mission more interesting in the long term. The first part of the sentence is important though- a feature like this would probably requre some serious limitation and balance testing. Without restrictions I can easily imagine 2-3 great players absolutely devastating a huge group of blues, taking away from the over all experience. Added challenge is fun, but being sniped 14 times in a row from 1200m -not so much!
  2. A couple of battle screenshots Willam Wallace, Danne and I, collecting nice vehicles and messing around, while our fellow soldiers are dying in the battle field (I'm a bit ashamed to admit that this has happened more than once ) Same here, with Kamaradski and Danne I believe. Evening assault on Maxwell(?) (I don't know how to get the screenshots into the post, without thumbnails) That's it for now!
  3. Here's my setup Case: Antec, I think it's a P90 CPU: Intel i7 2700k @4500Mhz Mobo: ASrock Z77 Extreme 3 Memory: 8GB DDR1333 GPU: Gainward windforce GTX680 (Nvidia) PSU: Corsair 650W HDD: Corsair 840 250GB Montiors: 24inch BenQ monitor from 2008 or 2009. Not very good. Headset: Logitech G35 (good for locating sounds) Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Mouse: Logitech MX518, fairly old, but it's still working fine. I play with all render settings at very high, none at ultra. No post processing, 2x AA. I get bad framerates sometimes, but it's ok. My window blinds are see through, so it's hard to see the screen when it's sunny outside. I have created a custom made sun protection system in the upper right corner of the picture. That's that!
  4. Hi, I figured it was about time I registered since I have been spending so much time on the server lately! I'm a Swede living in Oslo, Norway. I spend my time at work as a project manager and lately I have enjoyed ARMA in my spare time. Even though I played quite a bit of operation flashpoint and also some ARMA 2, I have to say that the ARMA 3 Alpha really surprised me in a positive way. In game I have both been lone-wolfing (in the mornings) and playing with other regulars, and even though driving around alone in an Ifrit, sniping Iranians from afar, is fun (and almost therapeutic) in it's own right, I much prefer the company of a good crew, which is what I seem to have found on this server. My experience with the AHOY crew, the server, (and most of the people on it), has been great so far. I won't be playing as much as I have these last few days, but I hope to be a regular in the future as well! See you on the battle field! /Govent
